Tickets & Booking
When do online tickets close?
Tickets can be purchased online until 3pm on the day of the event. After this time tickets may be purchased, subject to availability, by calling 0115 910 33 33 option 3.
Can I purchase tickets on the day?
Yes! Trackside admission can be purchased at the turnstile but Winning Deal tickets cannot. Restaurant tickets may be available but cannot be guaranteed.
Do you offer a group discount?
Our Winning Deal package is already heavily discounted and is for groups of 6 or more adults.
For our dinning customers if you are planning on bringing 50+ people please contact us directly on 0115 910 33 33 option 3 to discuss your options.
When will I receive my tickets?
All tickets will be sent via email, this includes tickets for restaurant and hospitality bookings. You will receive your ticket(s) two weeks before the fixture you are due to attend. If you’ve booked your tickets within two weeks of the fixture, these will be sent manually during office hours as soon as possible. Sometimes these can land in your junk folder so please check before getting in touch.
Do I need to print my tickets?
No, we can scan e-tickets off mobile devices (mobile phones & tablets). If you wish to print them off and bring them along in paper format this is fine.
Can I transfer / refund my tickets or packages?
Once purchased, refunds or transfers on tickets and any other online purchases will only be available in the case of fixture abandonment, event cancellations and not for any other reason. Please see our terms and conditions of entry for full details.
Can I get a window seat in the restaurant?
We allocate seating based on when a customer has booked but also to allow us to maximise the space available. Although we endeavour to meet all customers requests this isn't always possible and we can't guarantee a window table.
Can Children come racing?
We welcome children and families to Nottingham Greyhound Stadium. Children aged 17 and under are admitted trackside for just £1 when accompanied by an adult and our restaurant caters for children of all ages.
How do I redeem a gift voucher?
To redeem a gift voucher please call us on 0115 910 33 33 option 3 and state the booking reference number on your voucher. We will then convert this to an event ticket(s) and email you the confirmation.
Times
What time do gates open?
Gates open at 5.30pm for our evening race meetings and 10.00am for our morning meetings.
What time will the racecourse close?
Our gates close at 10.15pm on Monday's, at 2.45pm on Wednesday's & Thursday's and at 10.30pm On Friday's.
Travel & Entry
Do you have on-site parking ?
We are situated on the Colwick Park & Ride and our customers are welcome to park on it free of charge during the event. Please be aware that cars are not allowed to be left overnight.
What do I need to wear?
Most racegoers choose a smart casual outfit when attending the races and some, especially at Christmas, do like to get dressed up. We are happy for most clothing styles as long as clothing is family friendly. Please click here to view our dress code.
How do I get to the racecourse?

Can I arrive by coach?
Yes, absolutely. We welcome coach groups to the racecourse. On arrival, coaches must head to the right side of the car park area where they can stay through out the meeting if they choose.
Food & Drink
What bars and food outlets will be open?
You’ll always be able to grab a drink and bite to eat when you come racing. You will be able to use our snackbar and paddock bar during our morning meetings, however on quieter meetings you will need to speak to the snackbar regarding your drinks order. For evenings we open our snackbar and paddock bar fully as well as our restaurant on the first floor.
Can I bring my own food or drink to the stadium?
Although we do allow birthday cakes to be brought into our restaurant, no other food or drink is to be allowed on site.
Do you cater for different dietary requirements?
Our website will always show variations of our menu for vegetarians and vegans as well as people who need a gluten free diet. If you have any other requirements please call us on 0115 910 33 33 option 3 and our chef's will discuss them with you.
Do you have highchairs?
We do have highchairs' in our restaurant but they are limited so we recommend you speak to us before the event to reserve one.
Accessibility
How accessible is your racecourse?
We do all we can to ensure our visitors enjoy their day. This includes making our venue an easily accessible place and adding in extra features to make guests comfortable wherever possible. Click here for more information.
Betting & Payments
Do you have cash machines?
No – There are no cash machines on site but we do offer cashback from the upstairs bar as well as the paddock bar. All catering units and bars accept debit or credit card payments as well as cash whereas the tote only accepts cash.
Where can I place a bet on course?
We have tote betting in the paddock bar as well as at your table in our restaurant. We also have bookmakers in the betting hall.
Our restaurant customers will find racecards on their table when they arrive. All other customers can download a racecard using the QR codes found around site or you may purchase a printed racecard from our turnstiles as you enter.
What payment method do you accept?
All bars and food outlets accept cash or card however card is our preferred method. Our tote and bookmakers will only accept cash payments. We do offer cashback from our upstairs bar or paddock bar if you require any on the night.
Experience
Can we bring a cake and balloons?
If you are in our restaurant we do allow helium balloons and a cake to be brought in. You can drop these off before the event if you wish and we will set the tables up for your arrival. We don't allow these items downstairs and so general admission and other trackside packages cannot bring them.
Can I smoke and where?
Smoking is permitted in the allocated smoking areas. Smoking or vaping are not permitted in any building.
Where is best to stay overnight?
As we are near the city centre there are plenty of places nearby, please visit the local tourism website for options and availability.
Does the weather affect the racing?
Our track is extremely robust and we can race safely all year round, however the safety of our canine athletes, their trainers, our staff and our customers is paramount. If we feel the weather will impact on us operating safely we will abandon the race meeting. Although this happens very rarely, we will contact all customers who have purchased a ticket as well as posting on our social media pages and on our homepage. Please check before leaving the house to avoid disappointment.
If we do have to cancel, a member of our bookings team will be in contact to discuss a refund or a transfer to another meeting.
What items can't I bring into the Racecourse?
Knives/Lethal weapons, Alcohol, Illegal Drugs, Fireworks, Glass are all forbidden at the racecourse. Bags larger than A4 size are also not allowed and we are unable to store items for customers whilst they are on site.

Dogs
Can I bring a dog?
With the exception of Guide Dogs of the Blind and other Assistance Dogs, dogs are not permitted to enter the racecourse. In the interests of animal welfare, no dogs are permitted to be left in cars and we politely request that all dogs are left at home.
Photography
Can I take photographs?
At all meetings we ask you to ensure that no flash photography takes place when the dogs are on parade or racing. Otherwise, you are welcome to take photographs for personal, non-commercial use only. You cannot take images for commercial purposes without prior permission from the racecourse and provision of press accreditation.
Note Professional filming and photography takes place here at the racecourse for various publications and broadcasting and race goers (including families) consent to being filmed, photographed and otherwise recorded by the Racecourse or any authorised third-party. By entering the racecourse, you accept our terms and conditions of entry, which authorised by the Racecourse the right to broadcast, publish, licence and use any photographs, film, recordings or images of you without payment or other compensation in any promotional literature produced by Arena Racing Company.
